I’m a multidisciplinary creative driven by curiosity and instinct, working at the intersection of art, fashion, and storytelling, using diverse mediums to express ideas while constantly evolving my practice.

How would you describe your personal style and key wardrobe pieces?
I would describe my personal style as understated but intentional. I gravitate toward clean silhouettes, natural fabrics, and a muted palette, with the occasional statement piece that adds contrast. Key pieces in my wardrobe include oversized tailored blazers, relaxed trousers, a crisp white shirt, and timeless accessories. It’s less about trends and more about building a quiet, cohesive language through clothing.

Talk us through your multidisciplinary creative journey across fashion, creative direction, photography and fine art. How did this distinctive practice and perspective come to fruition?
My journey has been quite organic, starting with a foundation in visual art, then gradually expanding into photography, fashion, and creative direction. Each discipline informed the next. Photography taught me about framing and narrative, fashion introduced me to movement and form on the body, and fine art grounded everything in concept and emotion. Over time these practices naturally merged into a more holistic approach. Rather than separating mediums, I now see them as tools to express a singular perspective.

Who inspires you?
I’m inspired by people who feel genuine in what they create and follow their own path. I’m also drawn to a sense of old-world charm mixed with modern-day juxtaposition. I find myself continually inspired by Dutch Master painters, the fluidity and emotion of movement in fashion photography and architecture from the Art Deco and postmodern eras.

What has been your favourite creative project to date? Talk us through the process.
My favourite creative project to date was serving as Creative Director for the David Jones Autumn/Winter 2024 launch, where I led the creative vision across every touchpoint, from the invitation for the launch event, the event design to the tablescapes and overall guest experience. The process centred on creating an immersive, cohesive experience that celebrated the new season collection and the latest issue of JONES magazine while collaborating closely with internal teams and creative partners to bring the vision to life. It was incredibly rewarding to see every detail come together into an experience that felt both elevated and memorable and it reinforced my passion for creating thoughtful, end-to-end brand experiences.

Architecture inspiration right now?
I’m really drawn to Art Deco and postmodern architecture, the way subtle decorative details are balanced with strong shape and form. I especially love modern interiors that draw from these eras and sit somewhere between old and new, where there’s a sense of history but still a clean, contemporary feel.

Who is your favourite artist?
I'm drawn to both Australian and international contemporary artists, particularly Rae Klein, Emma Webster and Diena Georgetti, whose distinct approaches to colour, composition and atmosphere I find endlessly inspiring. I also love looking beyond contemporary practice, often referencing the Dutch Masters for their use of light and storytelling as well as early Modernism for its bold experimentation with form, material and design. I enjoy drawing from this mix of historical and contemporary influences to inform my own creative thinking.

How do you plan to fulfill your creative desires for the rest of 2026?
I've just come back from travelling, which left me feeling really inspired. For the rest of 2026, I'm looking forward to putting that energy into both creative projects and my own art practice with the goal of building a body of paintings to work towards my first exhibition.
