Please give us a brief introduction of yourself Francesca.

My name is Francesca Webster, however more commonly known as the GM of Raes on Wategos, and now the Raes Collection as our brand expands into new and exciting guest experiences outside of Byron Bay and Australia.

How do you plan to fulfil your creative desires in 2021?

My creative desires are largely surrounded by the goals for Raes expansions as well as balancing all things outside of work, managing an intra-state lifestyle between Sydney and Byron. Attempting to keep up requires both discipline, drive and clarity, finding the slow in the speed of the day to day. This year I'm attempting to have no screen time within the hour prior to sleeping. A 3-5 minute meditation then reading. It's a small change but is truly making a difference on quality of sleep and clarity of headspace. Similarly attempting for everything to be in moderation including moderation- sometimes the meditation doesn't happen but a great catch up with friends over a (long & late) meal + wine does.

Current favourite artist and inspiration?

I have had my eye on any of Carline Denervaud's pieces for a while now!

Anything by Terence Conran, Axel Vervoordt, Tasmin Johnson & The Festen duo
