Please give us a brief introduction of yourself Lauren?

I’m 26 and live on the Central Coast (1 hour north of Sydney) with my beautiful fiancé and golden retriever. I work on renewable energy projects as well as in the fashion industry as a creative. I’m a HUGE lover of design, particularly Nordic/mid century furniture, and a self proclaimed foodie - though my favourite foods are KFC and anything with truffle so I’m easily pleased!
How would you describe your personal style? and Key wardrobe pieces?
Minimal and elevated. I often wear a basic singlet/tshirt with jeans or a tailored black pant and lean into leather blazers or wool coats to make my outfits more interesting. I am obsessed with my Bottega Veneta Jodie bag too - the intrecciato leather makes any outfit a million times better!
I’m very conscious of curating a timeless wardrobe so I don’t experiment much with clothes - I know what works for me and I stick to that.
Key wardrobe pieces has to be a good black blazer and structured coat. If you have that, it doesn’t matter what you wear underneath, you instantly look put together.
Best styling advice that you've ever received and live by?
Whatever makes you feel good, looks good
Current style muses?
Sophia Roe, Maya Stepper and Lara Worthington.
What are the most treasured pieces in your wardrobe?
My Bottega Veneta padded cassette bag, it was my first designer purchase so will always be my favourite, and my Acne Studios Bano Boots - I struggle to wear anything other than them!
Favourite creative outlets for your city escapes in Melbourne and Sydney?
Chic cafes and galleries. Spaces inspire me most.
You are about to travel to Europe, what influences your style the most when you travel?
Practicality and weather - I’m a neutral girl through and through so I don’t delve into patterns much. My style doesn’t change when I travel - you won’t see me wearing orange in Sicily!
Current favourite artist?
Favourite sound currently?
Rain, always rain.
How do you plan to fulfill your creative desires for the rest of 2023?
Travel! Nothing inspires me more than travel and new places so I’m desperate to get back over to Europe and explore parts of Italy I haven’t seen before.
